The story of House Hunter Hungary
Let us write just a few words about how we evolved to property hunting specialists…
The start
We started off as property refurbishment and general building company back in 1997 in the UK.
The profile change
Gradually we turned to managing properties for landlords and by 2004 our main profile became letting agents and property managers.
The new life
Being of Hungarian origin, our family decided to move back to Hungary in 2013 and started a real estate agency over here. The business has developed smoothly and after a while more and more foreign nationals asked us to help them in getting the right property for them in Hungary.
The transformation
When you are an estate agent you see things from an estate agents' view. All you do is trying to get rid of your properties in stock, full stop. Only when we began to understand our foreign customers we've come to the realization, that we could actually do a lot more to help them and at the same time, fill the gap in the Hungarian property market.
Present day
So the sequel could not be else but to set up our House Hunter Hungary service. Being property hunting specialists, we​ do not care about selling properties, we only care about acquiring SUITABLE properties for our clients who are interested in Hungarian real estate properties.
